I sold a quartz watch from Chopard

I brought in the Chopard Mille Miglia quartz watch that I had received as a present when I first started working. The store was not closed up behind doors, instead it was bright and airy. As I walked past, one of the female staff was disinfecting the interior, which gave me a good impression. Actually I was hesitant about selling the Chopard watch, but I thought I would at least get it appraised. This was my first time coming to Jewel Cafe, and I regretted not coming earlier. I really liked the watch’s design and wanted to sell it for a good price, so I was glad to be able to let it go. Thank you for spending the time to attend me.

Back when I used to collect watches, I remember falling in love with the Chopard Happy Diamonds watch at first sight and buying it. I sold a broken Chopard at a high price

I sold 3 Chopard watches that I had been wanting to get rid off recently. One of them was broken, so I was wondering whether to throw it away. But while passing by a Jewel Cafe store I saw the sign which said they also purchased broken watches, so I brought it in and was able to sell it at a high price. They told me that they accepted broken or strapless watches for Chopard and the like, so I will come again if I have anything else to sell.

I found out that there was a buyback shop at International Plaza I always went to. When I asked the staff there whether they bought Chopard watches, they confirmed that they did, so I brought my mother’s Chopard watch at a later date. She had received it from my grandmother, but since she couldn’t really wear it on normal occasions she decided to send it for estimation. The staff explained that they were able to offer a good price because it was a Chopard Happy Sport watch. It was more money than I expected, and after discussing with my mother, we decided to sell it.

I sold a Chopard Happy Diamonds ring at Jewel Cafe the other day. I had bought the ring because I used to like Chopard, but I started to accumulate a lot of jewelry which I didn’t wear, so I brought them to Jewel Cafe. I was a little nervous about the male staff, but he attended to me very politely and taught me about the unique features of Chopard jewelry. I didn’t own a watch but listening to him talk I started to want a Chopard watch myself, and considered using the money to buy one. I will come again!

It was founded in 1860 by watchmaker Louis-Ulysse Chopard in Sonvilier, up in the Jura mountains. As a young watchmaker who produced watches that were exceptionally functional and practical for its time, his watch workshop became the talk of the town as soon as it was established, and its popularity spread quickly. Watches with L.U.C. on the dial became highly sought after across Europe, and in 1937 his grandson Paul-André moved the company headquarters to Geneva. From there, Chopard established its name as an international luxury watch brand. In 1963, Paul-André transferred control of the company to German jeweler Karl Scheufele. The famed jewelry brand in Germany was a perfect match for the watchmaking skills that Chopard had developed up until that time, and so Chopard grew from being just a watch brand to a jewelry brand as well. Chopard's trademark diamond jewelry is the Happy Diamonds collection, the most popular piece being the heart motif ring. The heart shape has the general image of being cute, but the heart motif in Chopard's Happy Diamonds collection was designed with mature women in mind; the Chopard heart diamond ring does not give the impression of youthfulness but sophistication. Chopard's Happy Diamonds collection features diamonds encased within a sapphire crystal case. This unique flat design of the diamonds and case makes the piece very gentle to the touch. One of the reasons for Chopard's success lies in the company’s roots as a watch workshop and not a fashion brand.
