Very satisfied with the price and the staff are so helpful. Nice environment and very good service. I also get the member privileges that I can use it anytime because has no expired date. I have a branded watches and old jewelry that I plan to sell. I will come again to sell it and redeem the member benefits on the next transaction. I also get the grand lucky draw price $20 cash on lucky wheel. It’ so fabulous and I will recommend to my siblings and friends about this place. Very trusted buyer and fast service. Easy to sell any unwanted items for instant cash.

I sell my loose diamonds with good price.

My friends invite me to Jewel Café because I want to sell my loose diamonds that I bought at Sri Lanka. I planned to custom made for my bracelet and rings. But I have no time to do it and now I decided to sell it. My diamonds have no certificate, and I totally do not know the grade for my diamonds, but I only remember my diamonds is 0.5ct 1 piece that I plan to make my ring, and the others is 0.3ct for four pieces for my bracelet. Then I came to Jewel Café with my friends and the staff are so friendly. I am comfortable with this place and so lovely with the environment. The staff start appraised my diamonds and they are so professional. They served us drinks and wonderful snacks too during the assessment. No wonder my friends invite me to come to this place. I am happy with the price, and they added me 10% more from my friend invitation card and at the same time my friends also get $20 cash. My friend was so happy and after that she treat me drinks at Starbucks. I love this place and I also get the member benefits and the lucky wheel prize. I will come again to sell my unwanted branded bags on the future.

Diamond’s 4Cs
There was no universal indicator for measuring diamonds until the mid-twentieth century. In certain conditions, the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) created the world's first standard for representing diamonds. Today, the Color / Clarity / Cut / Carat Weight '4C for Diamond Quality' is recognized worldwide as the international standard for assessing the quality of any diamond.

Frequently Asked
Questions

Faq
Q
Does the size of the stone (diamond) affect the assessed price?
A
Yes, a carat is the unit of measurement for the size of a diamond stone, so the greater the number of carats, the higher the measured worth. Diamonds, on the other hand, have other measurement points such as colour, transparency, and cut, so the price will be decided after a detailed analysis.
Q
Does the assessment change depending on the shape of the diamond?
A
Yes, the price of a diamond varies based on its shape (cut). A brilliant round cut is the most common style, but there are also emerald, marquise, oval, and heart shapes. The price varies depending on other factors such as colour and clarity, but the evaluation is free, so please feel free to visit us.
Q
Is it possible to appraise something without a certificate or license?
A
Yes, we can still purchase your diamond jewelry even without certificates! While having a certificate certainly increases the confidence in the appraisal process, at Jewel Cafe, we conduct extensive research on diamond authenticity and stay updated with the latest market trends. Therefore, even if you don't have certificates, we can provide you with a confident and fair price for your diamonds.
Q
Is it okay to bring an old diamond I purchased a long time ago?
A
Yes, there is no problem with older diamonds. Diamonds are composed of highly durable atoms, and their beauty is preserved even with age. Depending on the cut, they can even produce a new brilliance. Therefore, at our store, we do not give negative evaluations to older diamonds and can offer you a price that meets your expectations.
Q
Can the jewelry store pay a better price?
A
No, even in specialized shops like ours, we conduct high-value diamond purchases. While some jewellery stores may have systems such as trade-in (using the trade-in value towards the purchase of new jewellery and paying the difference), and may repurpose the diamonds they purchase for other jewelry, Jewel Cafe refrains from secondary use of purchased diamonds. Instead, we aim to list them in markets where fair prices can be achieved, ensuring customer satisfaction through our pricing approach.
Q
Is it possible to sell tiny diamonds attached to the side of a larger diamond?
A
Yes, we can purchase even very small diamonds that are set as side stones alongside larger diamonds. These small diamonds are commonly referred to as melee diamonds, and Jewel Café offers high-value purchases for them as well. The demand for melee diamonds has been increasing globally.
Q
Are you able to assess just the diamond stones?
A
Yes, we'll also buy diamond stones (loose diamonds). Diamonds that aren't embedded in jewels are known as loose diamonds. We also weigh diamonds and assess their consistency, but even though you don't have a certificate, we will gladly purchase it.
Q
Will the purchase price of diamonds fluctuate?
A
Yes, the market price for diamonds does fluctuate. The global market price for diamonds can vary daily due to factors such as the calculated production volume in the countries of origin, changes in demand for diamonds, and the impact of exchange rates. As a result, the value of diamonds can change significantly over a span of a few years. Therefore, it is advisable to make a prompt decision when considering selling diamonds that you no longer need.

About Loose diamond

In order to determine the value of the diamond, various grading system was created in the past but the 4C which developed by GIA was a globally recognized system based on “Carat (weight)”, “Colour”, “Clarity” and “Cut”. Back in the early 1950s, GIA’s first diamond grading laboratory was opened in New York. Later, the quality analysis report issued by this institute created a revolution in the international diamond industry. The clear-cutting grading system which introduced in 2006 has become the most widely used standard among diamond and jewellery professionals worldwide today. “Carat” is the weight unit used for diamonds (and other gems) and loose diamonds can be directly weighed accurately which makes weight the most objective view of the 4C. “Colour” is graded from colourless to yellow to brown and when the grade is nearer to colourless, the higher the value will be. “Clarity” is graded by the presence or absence of internal impurities such as damage or foreign substances call inclusions inside the diamond. “Cut” means the proportions and finishing of the diamond. Proportion refers to the relationship between size, shape, symmetry, weight distribution and cutting angle for the stone. Finishing means details of facet shape, position, and polishing. Thus, 4C is vey important during valuing diamond. When we purchase your loose diamonds, of course we look for diamonds in good condition, but we also actively buying loose diamond which have missing part or with scratches. Therefore, please visit us for loose diamond assessment. We are confident with the loose diamond buying price.

Tips on how to sell diamond jewelry!

●Select a shop that specializes in diamonds. Instead of selling, some gem shops have implemented a trade-in scheme (buy fresh gems for the selling price and pay the difference later), and some shops measure uniformly based on the number of carats and grades. We recommend selling at a specialized shop that has a strong track record of buying diamonds.

●Bring both a license and a certificate if you have it with you. It would be more accurate to verify the quality of diamonds, particularly if you have a credential, and this can influence the estimated amount too. Especially for large diamonds, there are many stores that attach a certificate when purchasing, so please bring it with you.

●If you don't think you'll need it, we suggest making a decision as soon as possible. If you think you may need it someday, the product's value may drop or you might lose it, so if you decide not to use it, we suggest selling it as soon as possible.

● If you have a large diamond (1 carat or more) but no certificate, contact the certificate distributing agency, have a certificate issued, and then sell it for a high price. This is because some buyers pay higher prices for a certificate, but there is a chance that the price will rise in the future, particularly for big diamonds. It would be typical to provide a GIA certificate or a central gem certificate.

● Pay close attention to the form of storage. While diamonds are extremely hard, they can be chipped due to the angle of damage or friction between diamonds. Separate it from other jewellery when handling it and keep it in a protected spot.

● Bring your jewellery without removing the stones (diamonds) from your jewelry. The same is true even if you want to sell only stones (diamonds), because there is a possibility that the diamonds will be damaged when you remove them with the equipment you have at home. At Jewel Cafe, stone removal is free, so please feel free bring it to us.

How to Tips

Tips of diamond jewelry 1 carat diamond necklace with certificate

Big solitaire diamond necklaces are a classic piece of diamond jewellery. It's a jewellery that literally fastens the diamond, removes needless development, and highlights the diamond's initial beauty at the collar, but the big diamond has a greater appearance and offers an elegant performance. As a result, many jewellery stores sell this item, but we also purchase a lot of them at our shop adding to purchase higher-quality diamonds or are tired of designing as the main reason.

There was a period when higher-quality diamonds were used for rings, then for necklaces, and finally for earrings, depending on the use. Since I was looking at the diamond closer to my own eyes, I preferred to concentrate on quality as much as possible when it came to rings. Earring are casually guided because necklaces tense to draw more attention. Each has a specialized role, and diamonds can be used effectively.

The grade of the diamond may be clearly labelled, particularly in the case of a large diamond necklace with a single stone (solitaire), but there are distributors that use diamonds with a slightly lower rank in the above period. Therefore, when purchasing a new item, we recommend that you choose a necklace with a certificate that clearly states the quality of the diamond.

Also, if you want to buy a new design necklace or replace it with a higher-grade diamond, please come to Jewel Cafe, where you can sell your diamonds at a high price.
